Biological Solutions
Biological Solutions Ltd is run by David Leonard and Tom Harris, two guys who have been involved in biological farming practices in New Zealand for many years.
David Leonard
David is owner of SAFA Biological Sea Plants www.seaweed.net.nz a company he set up in 2002, and has had an extensive career in business management, marketing and export.
He has also enjoyed an extensive sporting career, having played first class cricket for Central District for 4 years. David is still very involved in the sport as a selector for senior representative cricket and coach of both senior club side Wanderers and the Nelson Primary cricket representative team.
Tom Harris
For the past 20 years Tom has been involved with 3 of NZ's largest fishing companies. His work has centered around using fish proteins, Omega 3 & 6 fish oil, humates and fulvic acid to make biological fertilisers and sprays for plant protection to control fungal and insect disease.
Tom's BioGro number is 202, which gives some idea of how long biological agriculture has been his focus.
Tom also owns the company Biosea, which is in a JV with The Sealord Group in Nelson.
